Today we had a runathon to raise money for our new library. We were all worn out afterwards! It was great fun & we can't wait to find out how much we made.

Hello Room 3

Hello Room 3,
How are you?  Are you having a nice week so far?  I hear that the teacher who is looking after you is a lovely lady.  I'm still at home - and still coughing! It's not much fun. But, it is great being able to look at your blog and keep up to date with what Ruckus is doing!

Some of you have asked how to leave a comment, so here are some instructions for you:

1) At the bottom of the post (or page if it is on Ruckus' page) there is a little box that tells you how many comments have been left so far:

2) Click on the link that says ' '0' comments' (there might be some comments already there if others have left comments before you).
3) Then you can write your comment in the box that pops up.

4) The most important thing is that you select the profile that you comment as.  (Mums and Dads,  unless you have an online profile such as a google account or one of the other listed accounts, you will need to post as 'anonymous').
5) Once you have posted your comment, you can click 'publish'.  An email will then be sent to me and I can approve your comment for the blog.

Oliver & lynella come to visit!

It was an interesting morning in room 3 today, as Oliver & Lynella came to teach us all about wearing hearing aids & how we can help people who wear hearing aids.

These are some of the ways we learnt that can help people to hear us clearly. 

1) Make sure you are close to the person when you are speaking. 

2) Make sure that you look at the person when you are speaking. 

3) Make sure that you speak clearly when you are speaking. 

Hello Room 3

Hi room 3,
I'm so sorry to have not seen you all this week so far.  I have had a nasty cough and the Doctor ordered me to rest for a few days.  I'd much rather be at school with you guys though! I have been thinking about our Mihi's and getting them finished for assembly on Thursday. Hopefully we will manage to get that done in time.
